Cabbage Soup to lose weight

Ingredients

  • Chicken or meat broth
  • Carrots ½ cup
  • Chicken chunks ½ cup
  • Onion 1 small
  • Tomato 1 small
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Cabbage ½ cup
  • Potato ¼ cup
  • Green onion 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Directions

  • Chop all the vegetables and fry them into oil.
  • When soft add salt, black pepper, onion, chicken chunks and tomato.
  • Add broth after 5 minutes and let it cook for some time.
  • If the soup becomes too thick then you can also add water in it.
  • Pour into cup and enjoy.

Gram Lentil Soup to lose weight

Ingredients

  • Gram lentils half cup
  • Salt according to taste or 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds ½ tsp
  • Tomato 1, small
  • Onion 1, small
  • Garlic and Ginger paste 1 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Directions

  • First of all take gram lentil and wash it properly. Leave it sit in water for at least 2 hours.
  • In a pan take 2 tbsp of oil and put onion in it. When it starts to change its color then add ginger and garlic paste, cumin seeds, tomatoes, salt and black pepper in it.
  • When the tomatoes become soft then add the gram lentil.
  • Add 1 ½ cup of water, cover the pot and let the gram lentil cook. You can also use pressure cooker for this purpose.
  • If you want a smooth paste then blend the lentil before putting in to the pan.
  • When ready pour the soup into the bowl and enjoy.
